I’ll be learning about herbs this weekend at the Haleiwa Farmers Market Sunday. This is a great market, small but select, and well worth the drive (which is particularly nice for a Sunday morning excursion). While you’re out there, I highly recommend the buns at Waialua Bakery at the far end of Haleiwa town and there are lots of great places to have breakfast, too. I’ll be there from 9 to noon. Come see us.

Here are Herb Fest and Market details. I’ll be signing “The Island Plate” and “The Island Plate II.” Unfortunately, my “Entertaining Island Style” (third book) is sold out right now. This is from the Haleiwa Farmers Market web site.
